Dr. Fetus kidnapped Meat Boy & Bandage Girl's baby Nugget. Get over many obstacles and gimmicks and rescue her from the evil!
There are several new actions introduced in Super Meat Boy Forever; Attack(Punch & Kick), jump attack, slide, and dive. Punching enemies will not only defeat them but also boosts Meat Boy at the direction you've punched.
▲Meat Boy's new action, Jump Attack
▲Use Sliding to crawl under the deadly obstacles
Each level is created by composing 100 different chunks of stages with different difficulty. The level become harder each time you beat that level.

Just like the original Super Meat Boy, the difficulty of the game is 'just right'. You will die a lot and learn how to beat the level eventually. After you've beat a level, you can watch a replay of all of your attempts.

Super Meat Boy Forever will miss its originally scheduled release window according to a Twitter update posted by Team Meat that reveals that the team doesn’t want to push the people working on the game too hard in order to get the game out slightly earlier.
“We’ve been knocking out the last bits of Super Meat Boy Foreverat record speeds while keeping a healthy and sustainable pace,” reads the post. “We are going to keep that pace which means we will not hit our April 2019 release. Sorry about that…Team Meat isn’t some studio owned by an Evil Asshat corporation that has say over what we do and how we do it. We are fortunate enough to have control over how we work and we choose not to run ourselves into the ground.”
Team Meat stops short of confirming a new release date for Super Meat Boy Forever, but they do note that they expect to be able to release the game “After but not too far after April 2019.” Fortunately for fans, that doesn’t account for too long of a delay and it does sound like the team have a lot of the game already in place.
You may remember hearing about this game forever ago (cue cliche comedy drum roll) but it’s changed quite a bit since it was first “revealed” around 2015. At that time, Super Meat Boy Forever was believed to be either a fully-fledged sequel to the original game that would debut on PC or some kind of mobile project.

Now, we know that Super Meat Boy is going to be released for the Nintendo Switch and all other popular platforms. We also know that PC gamers will have to download it on the Epic Store as it is yet another entry on the growing list of Epic Games Store exclusives.
Whichever platform you eventually choose to play Super Meat Boy Forever on, it figures to offer the same brand of chaotic retro platformer gameplay that made the original title such a classic experience. This time, Meat Boy and Bandage Girl’s baby, Nugget, has been kidnapped by Dr. Fetus, and it’s up to Meat Boy to traverse ridiculously dangerous environments to save his baby.
While the footage of Forever that has been shown thus far suggests it will be fairly similar to the previous Meat Boy games, there is at least one new feature that will certainly freshen up the formula a bit. Super Meat Boy Forever is actually now an autorunner that touches upon the style of the original title but offers a fundamentally different gameplay experience. Fear not, though, as we’ve had a chance to play the game and are happy to report that it is indeed as good as ever (and maybe even better than that).
